Besides the services offered, VitroPlant S.A. markets in vitro orchid and coffee plant products directed at local and international tourism and collectors. They can be sent to any part of the world, due to the fact that it contains the Phytosanitary Certificate, also, the tourist and collectors can acquire them in main souvenir stores of the country.

In vitro orchid and coffee plants

Our product consists in the presentation of the individual in vitro coffee plant (Coffea arabica) and different species of orchid in glass vials, placed in a transparent “clamshell” type package. This permits the total viewing of the glass vial and, consequently, of the plant. The plant itself is cultivated in a transparent and sterile gel medium.

The packing contains a card in which on the front side describes the product and its possible uses, besides, it contains a photograph of the fruit of coffee or the flower of the species of orchid contained in the vial. On the back the instructions are listed for the transplant and care.

Besides the packing type clamshell, VitroPlant S.A. offers “baby food jar” type flasks (hobby flasks) which contain 6 to 8 plants of orchid of the same species.
